Another ghost from cubicle past

Here’s another beasty I had hanging in my cubicle at the Getty for many years. My friend Taras (update yer blog, will ya buddy?) cut out a newspaper clip for me about a giant monster festival at the American Cinematheque. This image is from Godzilla: Final Wars, a film which, despite featuring nearly every kaiju from the entire Godzilla series, is hands down, one of the worst films I’ve ever seen.

In your face, Sputnik! NASA recently unveiled R2—or Robonaut 2 if you’re not into whole brevity thing—a robot capable of tweeting from the International Space Station. I wonder how long it’ll take before he’s the Mayor of the ISS?

Halo 2600: Because 4K is all you need

On his own fruition, Ed Fries, the former VP of Microsoft’s game divison, has released Hal0 for the Atari 2600. He pressed 100 cartridges, which were sold at this past weekend’s Classic Gaming Expo. But if you weren’t lucky enough to pick one up, you can play it for free online.
